Terms & Conditions for Daily Mandarin

By downloading, installing, or using Daily Mandarin ("the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

License to use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

Subscriptions

Daily Mandarin offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, "Daily Mandarin Pro," which unlocks additional features such as the lock-screen and home-screen widgets. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — we do not have the ability to cancel or refund a subscription on your behalf.
• Refunds are handled solely by Apple or Google according to their own policies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or decompile the App except as permitted by law; use the App for any unlawful purpose; or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the App or its underlying systems.

Intellectual property

The App, including its design, text, graphics, and underlying code, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy of vocabulary content, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
